What makes Empty Bowl food different?
Empty Bowl Dog Food is crafted with locally sourced Oregon meats, prioritizing grass-fed options whenever available, along with organic produce. Our raw meals are freeze-dried to preserve nutrients, making them both highly nutritious and convenient for travel or everyday feeding.
Are your toppers complete and balanced?
No, Our toppers are intended for supplemental feeding. They are designed to enhance your pet’s nutrition and elevate their daily diet. Please add it in addition to kibble or what your pup normally eats.
How do I feed your food?
There are a few ways to serve our toppers—it all depends on how picky your pup is! You can serve them dry or rehydrated. To rehydrate, simply add warm water and let it sit for about a minute.
Here are two easy methods:
1. Sprinkle dry or rehydrated on top of your dog’s current food.
2. Place dry or rehydrated topper underneath their regular food to encourage picky eaters.
Is your food really raw?
While our food is raw, all meats undergo a gentle blanching process to eliminate harmful bacteria while preserving nutrients. We use raw vegetables whenever possible, but some are lightly cooked to aid digestion and maximize nutrient absorption.
Do you offer food for dogs with allergies or sensitivities?
Absolutely! We offer single-protein recipes like beef or lamb, which are great for elimination diets and sensitive pups. Feel free to contact us for help choosing the best option.
How should I store the food?
Our freeze-dried food is shelf-stable and doesn’t require refrigeration. Once opened, reseal and store it in a dry place.
